Lapis lazuli has been highly coveted throughout history by royalty, as a symbol of power and wisdom.  It was hoarded by Cleopatra during her time, who appropriated almost all of it!  She attributed her power to it, apparently.  

My inspiration for this necklace was nature, in all of its myriad forms.  There is so much beauty everywhere around us.

Amethyst is said to expand one's spiritual growth.  It is a healer and de-stressor, and offers protection from negative energies.  

Lapis lazuli, in addition to being credited with bringing power, luck and success, is also associated with friendship and harmony.  It enhances one's intellectual abilities and is a healer, particularly with regard to ear, nose and throat issues.
