There are some additional gemstones (as well as the  green onyx) in this mix, namely peridot, magnesite, blue apatite and freshwater pearls.  I  chose them for color harmony as well as the amazing shapes of the nuggets.  

I really free-associated on this design -- my designs are usually carefully planned.  I think I feel a need to break away from that and just surprise myself every now and then.

Green onyx brings luck, abundance and relieves stress.  It also boosts brain power and memory.

Magnesite is said to enhance creativity and artistic inspiration, and is good for creative visualization.

Peridot balances the energy centers in the body and brings clarity of mind, as well as spiritual awareness

Blue apatite helps you to uncover your psychic abilities and tune up your intellect.

Pearls are stress relievers, and connectors to the inner self and the spiritual realm.

I see a strong spiritual influence emanating from this composition.
