This multi-gemstone necklace is the first of a new project for me -- segmented necklaces.  I like the design possibilities -- I think the linear emphasis is very sleek.  

- All metal components are sterling silver

- All gemstones are microfaceted

- Patterned spacer beads are from Bali.

Amethyst is said to expand one's spiritual growth.  It is a healer and a de-stressor.  Opals have very similar properties, but they are also said to increase creativity.  Amazonite is also credited as being a creativity-enhancer, as well as a de-stressor and healer.  Peridot balances the energy centers in the body and brings clarity of mind.
